Visions of clear, turquoise waters and swaying palm trees pretty much invoke images of the Caribbean. All our trips to the Caribbean islands have been one day port stops from several cruises. Some of them we were glad we were there for only a day while some we wished we had a few extra hours to explore more of it. Each island offers distinct cultural and natural attractions that make many of them worthy of a return visit for a family vacation.
