Cruising has been a big part of our family vacation for the past 9 years. My husband and I got hooked after our first Caribbean cruise in 2002. It is a wonderful way to travel where I only have to unpack once and don’t have to worry about food and entertainment among other things while seeing a new place almost everyday. It is a great way to “sample” the Caribbean and Hawaiian islands to see which destinations we want to return for a family land vacation. So far, we’ve only made it back to Maui. Our kids have enjoyed every kids club and program they have participated in so far. We’ve found cruising has offered an overall excellent family vacation value.
